Delonghi Mobile Air Conditioners
Are the easiest route to true air conditioning in the home or office. They can be installed easily, connecting into a 13amp socket and are ready to use immediately. Two types of system are available, single units and split systems.
Single Units
These are instantly recognised by their exhaust hose which is used to expel the hot and damp air to the outside. Single units can cope with a wide range of room requirements. This hose must be vented through an outside wall or window using the socket provided. As a temporary instant solution, a flattened adaptor is included so that the hose can be fitted through a partially opened window or door.
Split Systems
For larger rooms or rooms that have bigger heat loads split systems are normally required. The separate external condenser box is connected to the main inside unit by means of refrigerant lines. These lines can be passed through a hole in the wall, about the size of half a brick before reconnecting. The external box can be placed either on the ground outside or hooked by straps over the edge of a window frame.
Delonghi Dehumidifier
Whilst we all try to keep our homes warm during the winter, its important to keep them dry too. Insulation and double glazing actually help trap moisture in our homes. However, a dehumidifier actually controls the amount of moisture thereby protecting your home and possessions and creating a healthier, more comfortable environment. All air contains some moisture, however, the quantity of that moisture often proves excessive. Through day to day activities such as boiling a kettle , drying clothes, showering or running a bath, even breathing, the average family can add as much as 20 pints of excess moisture to the air in the home every day. Practically every home regularly suffers from the harmful effects of excess moisture and the first sign of these problems is usually condensation forming on the windows in the cooler winter months.
Air Purifiers
Good air quality is important to maintain our health and sense of well being. However over recent years escalating pollution levels have given rise to huge increases in the number of people suffering from respiratory illnesses. To relieve these symptoms and those caused by seasonal irritants such as pollen, air purifiers can be used to filter the air. Air Purifiers use the very latest HEPA filters (High Efficiency Particulate Air Filter) which clean the air with efficiency in the region of 99.7%. HEPA filters are unique because they guarantee extremely high and constant performance throughout their lifespan.
Delonghi Humidifiers.
Humidifiers restore moisture to the air and help relieve respiratory tract problems such as croup and asthma, which are aggravated by air that is too dry. The range of humidifiers are of the warm mist type, this means that water is heated in the tank and creates a sterilised warm mist which is dispersed around the room.
